On July 5, 2018, under the chairmanship of the First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine – Stepan Kubiv, a meeting of the Coordination Council on development of the digital economy and society of Ukraine took place.
The main task of the coordinating and advisory council is to develop and implement joint actions of executive authorities, business entities and the public with the aim of organizing and implementing a plan of measures for the implementation of the Concept and the Action Plan for the Development of the Digital Economy and Society of Ukraine for 2018-2020.
Within the framework of the implementation of the Concept, a number of important infrastructure projects of digital transformation have been identified, including: legislative initiatives, digital infrastructure, public safety, cashless payments, digital social technologies, Smart City projects, digital education, digital health, Internet (IoT) ), industry 4.0, digital agriculture, digital science.
The function of the secretariat of the Coordination council is assigned to Hi Tech Office Ukraine.
