The National Grid Infrastructure (Ukrainian National Grid - UNG) was created as a result of the implementation of the State Targeted Scientific and Technical Program for the Implementation and Application of Grid Technologies for 2009-2013, approved by Resolution No. 1020 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of September 23, 2009.
Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is the basic organization for the development and support of UNG.
BCC provides management and coordination of works on supporting the operation of the national grid infrastructure.
BCC on the technological and operational level serves as the National Operations Centre (Resource Infrastructure Provider) of UNG grid resources in relation to the International grid communities.

Its main task is to strategically advise on the implementation of EOSC by reviewing, endorsing, and orienting the work of the Executive Board. |

Launch of the first EOSC Steering Board survey of national contributions to the EOSC The three parties of the EOSC partnership have agreed to build up a monitoring system, which will eventually measure the progress towards Open Science as the new normal. In this context, the monitoring is not only a way to take stock, but also to share best practices and to motivate all partners of the EOSC to strengthen their involvement and investment.

UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science The first international framework on open science was adopted by 193 countries attending UNESCO’s General Conference. By making science more transparent and more accessible, the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science will make science more equitable and inclusive.
