We are launching a 2nd call for the EGI Strategic and Innovation Fund. The Fund was established by the EGI Council to stimulate targeted actions that bring benefits within the EGI Community in the short to medium term. The 2nd call of the Strategic and Innovation Fund can be accessed by the EGI Council participants and associated participants. Moreover, the call is open to all organisations based in countries represented in the EGI Council who receive a letter of support by EGI Council participants |

The EOSCpilot project’s second and final EOSC Stakeholders Forum will be held on 21-22 November 2018 at the Austria Center Vienna. The event will have a crucial role in the implementation of the EOSC work plan. Building on the challenges faced and the outcomes of the fifteen Science Demonstrators within EOSCpilot, the Stakeholders Forum is a way of further building on the results around the EOSC Governance Model and Architecture and the Rules of Participation. |

The INDIGO-Data Cloud project recently published a paper that highlights the project’s achievements. The paper, entitled “INDIGO-DataCloud: a platform to facilitate seamless access to e-infrastructures”, was published online in Journal of Grid Computing in July 2018. |

At the EOSC Summit (11 June 2018) – From Vision to Implementation, many prominent players and related constituencies were represented and engaged in a fervent debate around the future of EOSC. The EOSC Summit 2018 brought together 180 key players for the implementation of the EOSC, representing all categories and scientific fields. Fifteen research funders and about thirty officials attended from ministries of Member States and Associate Countries. |
